‘Big changes can devalue a Chimaera’

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Living With Classics - MIKE HARDY TVR CAR CLUB

‘Most Chimaeras are standard; changes are often made because aftermarket parts are cheaper, more readily available or of a higher quality than original,’ says Mike. ‘ The suspension tends to be changed first and brake upgrades aren’t unusual, but the standard system is very good – it only really struggles with very hard use, such as on track. Sympathetic modifications add value but big changes can devalue a car – make changes with due consideration.’ tvr-car-club.co.uk
