1968 Porsche 912

With the looks of a 911 but with a four-pot – rather than a flat-six – providing the motion, the 912 has its own pleasing character, offering much of the biggerengined car’s fun but at slightly less pace. This US-market car was imported in 1998 and its second UK owner (the vendor) decided on a full £25k restoration. The engine was rebuilt, the body re-painted and the interior retrimmed, further work including new external trim, seal kit and lighting. A bit special.
