1970 Jaguar E-type FHC
A recent American import that had covered 13,000 miles from new, this was one of the most pleasing E-types that’s come to auction this year. Colorado had been kind to the bodywork and paint, the dark Opalescent Blue paint being in very good order and suiting the car admirably. The interior had lasted just as well, too. The doors opened and shut well (and fitted well too) and with the ‘matching numbers’ element factored in, this was one highly tempting car. Why would anyone spend so much more on a no-more-competent DBS?
