2004 MORGAN PLUS 8

MICHELE CHAPMAN ‘I like the look of Morgans, plus the tradition and the heritage; when you sit in one, they just make you smile. They have their idiosyncrasies and the ride is not smooth, plus there’s a degree of Morgan “faffing” (with the sidescreens and the roof, etc), but that doesn’t stop me enjoying them. For me it has to be a Plus 8, because of the sound of that V8 burble. I can also understand why a lot of people still have them because they’re so easy to drive. Although its controls are heavier than my husband’s Plus 4, the engine will do anything in any gear – it’s like driving an automatic.’
