1970 Morris Mini 1000

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling -

Numerous punters were seen giving this little gem a serious once-over, and while it wasn’t in stunning order, it had that regular-use patina that gives a car more personality than any concours restoration can ever achieve.

The first owner had it for 32 years and later in its life it had been off the road for four years. Recent re-commissioning and an MoT test until next April was good, and while the paint and bodywork were presentable rather than excellent, it was still a charmer that would go down a treat at any show.

It lacked carpets, but affordable replacements will perk up the interior. Add in the period roofrack and it was clearly going to find a new home. Lovely.
