1973 MGB roadster
Another one-owner car, this roadster was by no means immaculate, but for someone after a relatively affordable ‘B roadster with interesting lineage here was the car.
Re-sprayed in 1995 the paint had lasted well, but there was overspray on the window rubbers the more fastidious might have addressed.
The bodywork was good, doors opening and closing nicely
and lacking dropping hinges. Inside it wasn’t too bad – an hour or so with proprietary cleaning potions and elbow grease would have helped, but mercifully the seats and door panels had no tears or damage. Not bad at all.
