Mathewsons has yet another sale planned, and there are some tempting lots on offer

With more sales than any other classic auctioneer this year, Mathewsons is usually preparing for its next sale almost as soon as the last one has finished.

Plenty of cars, ranging from familiar favourites to less frequently seen modern classics (£7-8k for a 1996 Escort RS2000 4x4, anyone?) should draw in punters from further afield than the north of England and as always it’s worth checking the website for late entries. The last sale saw lively bidding, and that is likely to be repeated this time.
