This is one of those 1980s performance hits that is being propelled upwards by a younger swathe of buyers – the ones who grew up lusting after the GTV’s charms when it was new. We haven’t seen headline-grabbing auction results for them yet – put that down to the Alfa having a less widespread following. But that’s by no means a bad thing if you’re thinking of buying.
