Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Driving -

This is an enjoyable and hugely practical car, totally evocative of its era and super-rare. This car’s colour and many chrome bits add yet more nostalgia to the pile, too. Apart from some wooden parts, there’s nothing particularly hidden or complex about this car and the interior is welcoming, with its big, bouncy seats and ample space. Its ample power and a good gearchange make it fun to drive in its own way, but remember The Autocar’s period suggestion that it would appeal to a businessman ‘who does not place rapid acceleration and highspeed handling among a car’s most desirable characteristics.’

It’s no high-speed cruiser, then, but its utterly loveable character more than makes up for it.
