‘Prices have hit the bottom of their curve’

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling - CHRIS HOPE, FEATURES EDITOR

‘ The fourth generation 5 Series is an underrated gem. Built to last, a powerful spread of engines, fantastic handling, and a choice of saloon or Tourer guises, these BMWs really do tick a lot of boxes. Prices have hit the bottom of their depreciation curve and now the only way is up. They might not be bonafide classics now, but can’t be far off. Avoid the 520i (which can feel underpowered) and seek out the 528i and 530i, which offer performance and refinement in spades.’
