REGENT STREET MOTOR SHOW

-

A display of old-meets-new electric vehicles will join 100 of the London to Brighton cars on the day before the run at this event in the heart of London’s West End.

The show is scheduled to take over the stretch of Regent Street between Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Circus, and will be closed to all other road traffic.

With the show completely free to enter, it’s best to get there early, because it will get very busy as the day goes on.

One of the highlights of the show is the Concours d’Elégance, when a panel of experts will judge the veteran cars and give out awards. The Fiat 500 Club will also be holding a special display, celebrating the car’s 60th anniversary.

Many of the run’s participants, judges and even some of the visitors will arrive in period dress too, so be sure to take your camera along for some great snapshots – or how about entering into the spirit of the thing by dressing up yourself?

The show will also feature classic car clubs and numerous entertainers, and Regent Street’s shops will remain open for business.

Organiser Nick Wigley, the boss of Goose Live Events, says: ‘ The Regent Street Motor Show provides a great showcase of motoring’s past, present, and future, but also uniquely gives visitors to the show this chance to get up close and personal with the very latest generation of cars’. veterancarrun.com
