Held a couple of days before the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run itself, Bonhams Veteran Car Sale has consistently confounded the doubters who claim that there’s little interest in the oldest cars. While there are fewer vehicles than in the London auctioneer’s other sales, Bonhams makes up for the small number of lots with history and old-world charm that’s hard to find at other auctions or even events (except the London to Brighton Run itself, of course).
