Scrappage scheme is a joke

-

The £2k scrappage scheme is a joke. It will make little difference when one has to pay £25,000-30,000+ for a hybrid car.

Many can’t afford to pay this kind of money and they are very costly to repair if they go wrong. Cars from the 1930s to the 1950s on average do little mileage per year and pollute less.

Will all our classics end up in museums as a thing of the past? Philip Harper, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire
