The electrics are generally pretty reliable. Ensure that the electric windows, central locking and alarm still work. Check that the red ‘master key’ is present – it’s needed to programme other keys and codes. There are specialist workarounds, but it’s a hassle if it’s missing. You should get three keys – one red, one silver, and a spare blue service one.
