Triumph 1300 to Dolomite Sprint £13.49

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - THIS WEEK -

This book aims to unravel the convoluted story of how the Triumph 1300 evolved into the Dolomite and its offshoots, a frontwheel to rear-wheel drive journey we’re not convinced that even Triumph itself understood.

As a Triumph enthusiast and club magazine editor, Kevin Warrington is the ideal person to put all the Project Ajax pieces together and there’s a lot of information within this book’s 96 pages, which begin with Triumph’s rescue by the Standard Motor Company. Aside from the period publicity shots, the photography is disappointing – it’s very much of the ‘snapped at shows’ variety – but this is still a handy reference guide about models that don’t get too much book coverage.
