1979 MASERATI MERAK 2000GT
Tough car taxation meant the Italian market saw numerous homeland models designed specifically to dodge that money grab, one example being the Maserati Merak, which was offered in two-litre form. This original-order 2000GT has had just two owners (father and son) and remained in Modena, where it was built, for 38 years. The body is described as ‘overall corrosionfree’ and the interior ‘in excellent order’. An interesting, little-seen example of the Merak, and sensibly estimated.
