Jon Cole’s 1995 Kawasaki ZXR750L3

My bike is the ZXR750 in Kawasaki France colours, which I’ve owned for 12 years. It hasn’t needed restoring fully but every winter I service it and do another set of jobs. I’ve just about had it completely stripped down in stages over the years and it just keeps getting better! The 1992 Virago XV535 belongs to my wife, Liz and was a surprise birthday present for her. I bought it running (just) but quite untidy. I cleaned it up, I fixed lots of bodges, I also replaced mudguards, seats and various bits. I did a bit of spraying and fettling to bring it up to scratch too. All done in secret, so the wife wouldn’t twig! I built a box around it in the garage and marked it up as a new staircase. It worked and she had no idea until she saw it on her birthday. I keep dropping hints about a Ducati for my birthday!
