Now with added nostalgia: ‘The Way We Were!’

I have three bikes that I still own and that I have restored. Like many of your readers I concentrate on one bike at a time in the winter. The first one I bought from the original owner, a GT750 A, he had stripped down in 1988 and it was in a million bits when I bought it. I restored it two years ago. Then last year I bought a complete H1. As the parts are so expensive and hard to get I bought a shoddy rebuild and took it apart and rebuilt it properly, and this year for a change I bought a wee GT125 from ebay, stripped it and rebuilt it.
