Nice at Newark! The next is on October 21: www.newarkautojum

Classic Motorcycle Mechanics - - NEWS - Scott Redmond.

I’ve been making the pilgrimage to Newark on and off for 20 years, my first visits were in those pre internet days of buying and selling. For many years I arrived with a large van full of used motorcycle parts that I’d fetched from my Essex workshop, and sold the lot! In later years I joined the online selling bandwagon but still found selling at Newark had plenty of advantages. Being able to sell bulk is the biggest and if you keep your prices sensible you will always do well: having a friendly haggle is part of the experience. Newark is much more than just an autojumble, friendships forged online are cemented at these events. I’ve built up a great network of traders with whom transactions take place at each event. The social side is a major part of it. It’s a cost-effective way to buy and sell motorcycle parts, workshop kit and the like. I look forward to each jumble and it’s one of the more fun ways to conduct business and have some pleasure.
