Racing Yin and Yang

Two legends.two different attitudes to motorcycling. Former GP and World Superbike star Frankie Chili was more than happy with his spirited runs in the GP Legends sessions while Jeremy Mcwilliams was racing as well as demonstrating. “Fifteen minutes on the track is perfect for me,” said Chili. “Any more and I might make trouble for myself.” Chili is one of those racers who never rides on the road, viewing motorcycling purely as a sport. “I’ve not ridden on the road since I was 18 and promised my mother I would sell all my bikes if I went racing. Now I think riding on the road is too dangerous.” Mcwilliams also doesn’t ride on the road in his leisure hours but get him to a track and you have trouble getting him off. “I was offered a last minute ride (bytom Dermody) and thought I’d give it a crack,” he said.
