Joe Bonamassa, John Mayall, Randy Bachman, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Edgar Winter, Warren Haynes and Robben Ford are among the many guests on Walter Trout’s new record, We’re All In This Together. His 26th album, it’s due on September 1 via Provogue Records.

The West End run of Jim Steinman’s Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical has been extended to August 5 due to public demand. It’s on at the London Coliseum in St Martin’s Lane.

Lionheart, the newly reunited melodic hard rockers featuring former Iron Maiden guitarist Dennis Stratton, release Second Nature, their first album in 32 years, via AOR Heaven on August 25. The vocalist on the record is newcomer Lee Small (Shy, Phenomena, Skyscraper).

Swedish melodic hard rockers H.e.a.t (pictured) release their fifth album, Into The Great Unknown, on September 22 via Gain/Sony. It includes the tracks Eye Of The Storm, Bastard Of Society and Shit City.

Alice Cooper’s November tour of the UK will feature guest appearance­s by the three surviving members of the original Alice Cooper band (guitarist Glen Buxton died in 1997). Rhythm guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway drummer and Neal Smith, who all appear on Cooper’s upcoming album Paranormal (reviewed on page 84), will perform minisets each night.
