Pur­vey­ors of a bruis­ing but acutely psy­che­delic strain of pum­melling, bowel-rat­tling doom metal, the Ital­ian trio have con­sis­tently come closer than most to em­u­lat­ing the in­ex­orable grind of tec­tonic plates as we spin point­lessly in an un­know­able uni­verse.
