THAT BOY: What became of Ferry Brouwer

Classic Trial - - PROTOTYPES | YAMAHA -

In 1949 Ferry Brouwer was born in a workingclass area. By following his intuition he became an influential and successful international businessman, providing the top professionals of car racing and motorcycle racing with crash helmets. Never afraid to roll up his sleeves he followed his own ideas with an open vision. On his way to the top he worked as a mechanic for legendary motorcycle heroes such as Phil Read and Jarno Saarinen. Ferry then ran his own Yamaha Classic Racing Team, and now he is involved with Classis Yamaha Trials machines.
