Following a barrage F of cruel comments about her figure, a furious Vicky Pattison hit back last week over reports claiming she had ballooned to a size 16.

The former Geordie Shore star, 29, was pictured doing a bootcamp-style workout in Norfolk wearing a grey vest top and black leggings.

But Vicky was quick to hit back at her critics, saying: “I train hard, I eat right, but most of all I enjoy life and urge all women out there to do the same.

“I work really hard to keep my figure fit, strong and healthy, but I’m a real woman and occasionally my weight fluctuates. I am a size 10 and have been all year.

“There are many other pictures from last week taken just DAYS later at a charity event, which clearly shows my true size [sic].”

She added: “I may not be perfect but I’m proud of what I’ve achieved and I’ll always keep training and trying but, equally, I will always love my life and live it to the fullest!! After all, that’s what we’re here for!!”

She later posted an Instagram photo of herself in a skimpy swimsuit, showing her body confidence.

TV presenter Vicky dropped a whopping 3st in 2013 and went from a size 16 to a size 6, following an intense diet and fitness regime. She went on to launch her own fitness DVD but, last year, she admitted she went too far with her weight loss and became “obsessed.”

She said at the time: “I ended up looking too skinny. My face looked gaunt and I became obsessed. I felt guilty if I had a Nando’s or a night out with my mates. And that’s not the right way to live.”

Lisa says: “Richard L and I are so happy together and we’re more in love than ever. When I heard Jimmy and Amy had got married and there’s a 59-year age-gap between them, I thought good luck to them. As long as they’re happy together, that’s the most important thing. We’re living proof that age is just a number.

“I met Richard in 2005 at an education centre where I was studying Maths and English. I was 21 and he was 67. He wasn’t my usual type, but I liked his blue eyes and stocky frame. I thought he was in his fifties.

“We became friends, then a relationship developed. When we shared our first kiss there was a real spark and our sex life is very passionate. We moved in together a year later and started trying for a baby.

RENEWING VOWS

“My family thought our relationship wouldn’t last, but they soon realised how happy we were. Our twins were born in January 2009 and Richard loves being a dad.

“He’s very young for his age and is great with the girls. He has other children from previous relationships, so he’s used to night feeds and changing nappies. “We married in September 2011 and renewed our vows two years later. We wanted to celebrate our love with our friends and family.

YOUNG AT HEART

“Richard was diagnosed with bladder cancer several years ago, but has beaten it thankfully.

Helping him through it has brought us even closer.

“We sometimes get funny looks when we’re out with the children and people mistake Richard for their grandfather. People call him a “cradle snatcher,” but we ignore them.

“There’s a big age-gap between us, but it doesn’t bother us. Richard’s young at heart and I’m quite mature for my age, so we just work. He’s a little hard of hearing now and not quite as quick on his feet as he used to be. But he’s still an amazing dad and a loving husband. I try not to worry about what the future holds for us.

At the moment, Richard is fighting fit and I hope we’ve got many more happy years to come.”
