‘I can’t get used to people crying when they meet me!’
Since winning this year’s Love Island, Amber Davies has had a non-stop few months.
And the 20-year-old dancer says she can’t get her head around her newfound fame and celebrity fans.
She says: “I still can’t get used to it – the strangest thing for me is when I see someone who starts crying when they meet me, it’s bizarre.
“And Paris Hilton follows me on Twitter, which is crazy!”
Amber also revealed that she’s determined to be encouraging of next year’s contestant after last year’s stars hit out at her on Twitter.
Cara de la Hoyde Tweeted: “Remove this girl from my TV. Amber your days are numbered in this villa.” While Kady Mcdermott added: “Can people stop comparing Amber and Kem to mine and Scott’s relationship. They won’t last five minutes.”
Amber says: “I’m shocked at some of last year’s contestants – you’d think they’d be supportive because they’ve been in the same situation. It was possibly jealousy, I don’t know.”
