Closer (UK) - - What to Watch -

Poor Stacey is rushed to hospital P with issues to do with the baby. There’s immense drama and heartache when an emergency C-section is called for, and while Martin learns he has a daughter, mum and baby are in a critical condition and no amount of pacing the hospital ward is going to help. Meanwhile, back on the Square, Jane tries to get one up on Max (the fool), but it’s no good and, after breaking the news about what Steven did to a horrified Ian, she gears up to leave Walford for good. Back to the hospital on Thursday and Stacey is awake, but refuses to see her baby. When she does, the pair name her Hope – but Martin can’t cope with the intense situation and flips his lid. Jane, meanwhile, has the frighteners put on her further by Max, and developments heap even more misery on Ian… Elsewhere, Michelle (we’ll call her Make-up Michelle since she’s been trowelling on the slap lately) is alarmed to get a message from Creepy Tom asking her why she’s at the hospital (er, how does he know?!), and then she spots him following her on the Tube and goes ballistic (yes, this means more filming beyond the confines of the ’Enders set!).
