She’s been open in the past about her devotion to lip fillers, insisting, “It makes me feel much more confident.” Yet, despite her honesty, Charlotte Crosby sparked concern among her fans last week when she posted a photo on Snapchat showing her with a hugely swollen pout – prompting fears she’s taken the procedure to the extreme.

One fan commented, “Your lips are horrific”. Another wrote, “Your lips are freaking me out. Stop it!”

Opening up about her surgery ops last year, Charlotte, 27 – who has also had a nose job and Botox – said, “I’ve been getting my lips done for about two years now. I get them done every five or six months at a place in Newcastle.”

But Dr Foued Hamza, a renowned plastic surgeon, tells Closer that the former reality TV star’s lips are a concern.

He says, “This looks to me like she’s had silicone or a nondissolvable product injected into her lips, which has caused them to swell up and become inflamed. This is not how lip fillers should look. We use a dissolvable product and then wait until it fully breaks down before we inject again. I don’t think this has happened with Charlotte.”

This isn’t the first time she has caused concern over her transformed looks. In November, her lips reportedly split open and started bleeding during an interview.

Defending herself against critics, Charlotte recently said, “I purposely post the pictures where my lips look the biggest they possibly could, and I say ‘give it five mins and there’ll be loads of comments.’ I do it to wind people up! I’m trolling people and they don’t even know it.”
