MICK GOES TO PRISON

-

Following Albert Square’s recent F gun drama – which put sinister Stuart Highway’s life on the line – Walford’s newest villain is now laid up in hospital, and this week whispers a shock confession to brother Halfway: it was Mick who shot him. Halfway is horrified, and it’s a race against the clock for him to warn Mick before the boys in blue make one of their regular appearances at The Vic. He’s too late, however, as Mick is taken away (not before managing to plant a big smacker on his missus) and the Carters are left reeling. On Friday, a desperate Mick calls Linda from the cells – but it’s not looking good for our fave Cockney geezer… Elsewhere, Kush is furious that Sophie (the mum of Bruno – who killed Shakil) is still hanging around and orders her to push off. He drowns his sorrows and has a drunken row with his old ma – ending up with him slamming the door in her face, and him breaking down in tears. Poor Kush! There’s also some bonding going on with Hayley and Stacey down the launderette (no one has washing machines in Walford). Stacey is sorting out the kids’ clothes and Hayley starts to panic that being a mum is too much like hard work. She gets a shock when her mum shows up – and then she thinks she might be losing the baby.
