Kerry’s brave confession

Kerry Katona has been looking stronger and fitter than ever over the last few months. She seems to have genuinely reinvented herself – throwing herself into exercise, keeping her new relationship low-profile and concentrating on her family. It’s been a revelation to watch, especially as it coincides with her friend Jordan spiralling further into crisis and ending up in rehab. But last week, Kerry bravely shared the news that despite appearances, she’s once again struggling with her mental health and is considering a return to antidepressants. She admits life isn’t “rainbows and unicorns” despite the image of positivity she’s been working hard to project lately. Depression can come for anyone at any time. Acknowledging it takes great courage and by speaking out, Kerry will undoubtedly have helped others suffering in silence. We’re all wishing her well.
