‘I’ve made sacrifices since becoming a mum’

Love Island star and mumof-one Cara De La Hoyde, 26, says,

“I agree that it’s hard to be a mum, have a career and keep your relationship strong all at the same time. I’ve had to make sacrifices since becoming a mum, like cutting back on work, because I don’t want to leave Freddie (who she shares with her Love Island co-star Nathan Massey) all the time. He’s coming up to ten months’ old now and that’s about the time a lot of mums are thinking about going back to work. Hats off to them, I don’t think I’d be able to do that. Some women can underestimate how tough being a mum can be – it’s a full-time job. I’d like to have another child one day, but maybe I’ll also start another business. I don’t want to lose those aspirations, but it might take me longer to get there.”
