THE MISSING SPIN-OFF SUN 17 FEB, 9PM, BBC1

Julien Baptiste – aka the French detective with a limp from nail-biting series The Missing – gets his own spin-off. This time, the sleuth (played by Tchéky Karyo) is in Amsterdam, mainly on grandad duty (which he’s less than a natural at), when the local Chief of Police asks for a hand. Soon, he’s busy tracking down a sex worker who was reported missing by her uncle Edward ( The Night Manager’s Tom Hollander). There are stacks of twists and no one is who you think they are... One thing is for sure – basements are not happy places and should never be visited!
