Software Restrictions Policies (SRP) let you set restrictions on which programs can run on your PC. This helps stop rogue programs – like spyware, for example – from running in the background. First, click ‘Re(install) SRP’ 1 and wait until it’s Installed 2 . Next, click SRP Default Level 3 to set it to Basic User 4 . You’ll notice that the values of all SRP options on the left will now turn on. This provides a good basic level of security that you can now customise further.
