Don’t overlook new ipad’s flaws
In Issue 500, your review of the new ipad 9.7 got a ‘Buy It’ recommendation. This puzzled me because of the many shortcomings of the device. It is very expensive compared with other tablets and has, by today’s standards, a paltry, non-expandable 32GB of storage. It’s heavier and thicker than other ipads, and has a poor reflective screen. The only thing in it’s favour is a slightly longer battery life.
I enjoy reading Computeractive,
especially the reviews. I have even bought a couple of devices on your recommendations – my Mesh PC and my Moto G4 phone. But I just don’t understand people’s misguided fixation on how wonderful Apple’s ludicrously overpriced products are. Michael Weaver
