‘JIHADIST LONDON’ WI FI GROUNDS PLANE
A pilot refused to fly a plane after a passenger spotted that someone on board had named their Wi-fi network ‘Jihadist Cell London 1’. The Thomson flight was due to fly back from Cancun in Mexico to Gatwick Airport on Tuesday 23 May, just hours after the suicide bombing at Manchester Arena. Police were called after nobody admitted to the name. All passengers were taken off the flight and flown home the following day.
