The last arm­bands most peo­ple wore were the in­flat­able kind that helped them learn to swim. More hi-tech are those built by New York com­pany CTRLLabs, which read the sig­nals sent from your brain to your fin­gers, al­low­ing you to con­trol your PC or phone screen us­ing the power of thought. This so-called ‘brain­ma­chine in­ter­face’ could be on sale next year, says the com­pany’s founder Thomas Rear­don.
