EMAIL Create email templates in Thunderbird
A few months ago, you featured a tip on how to save email message templates in Gmail. I found this very interesting and wondered if there’s a way to create and save similar templates in Thunderbird ( www.snipca.com/25792). After some research, I found that this was easy to do.
Click Write at the top left, then type a new email as you normally would. In the Subject line, name the template whatever you want. To save this for future reuse, click File at the top left, move you cursor to Save As, then select Template. I’ve created message templates to wish people well on their birthdays and anniversaries. I’ve also created one for my 60th birthday. To access your saved template, click Templates at the top left. You’ll see them all in a list. Double-click the one you want to open, then edit the message and send it to whomever you want.
