This zebra crossing is the latest response to the danger of smartphone zombies who stroll aimlessly into the road. Cameras detect their movement towards the kerb, triggering black and white LEDS in the road. It’s being trialled in Mitcham, South London. Watch it in action at www.snipca.com/25900.
