AN­DROID & IOS Search for your pets’ pho­tos by name

Google Pho­tos now lets you search for images of your pets by name – in much the same way you can search for peo­ple. We’ll first show you how to la­bel your pets’ pho­tos. Open the Google Pho­tos app (An­droid www.snipca. com/26017; IOS 26018), then tap the search bar at the top.

At the bot­tom, you’ll see a panel of cir­cu­lar icons with all the peo­ple (and any an­i­mals) in your pho­tos. Tap the ar­row icon to the right of this panel. You’ll now see tiles with all the faces of

peo­ple and an­i­mals that Google has recog­nised in your pho­tos. Tap any an­i­mal, tap ‘Add a name’, then type that an­i­mal’s name. Re­peat this for other pets in your pho­tos. From now on, you can search for all the pho­tos with your pet by sim­ply typ­ing their name in the app’s search bar (see screen­shot above).

Sys­tem Re­store (see above), click the Sys­tem Re­store but­ton (see screen­shot be­low left), click Next, se­lect your re­store point’s name, click Next, then click Fin­ish to restart and re­store your PC. The process can take 10 to 15 min­utes – de­pend­ing on the ex­tent of the changes you’re rolling back – af­ter which your PC will restart with a mes­sage say­ing it has rolled back to an ear­lier state.
