Amazon scam ‘improves privacy’

Computer Active (UK) - - Protect Your Tech -

I can usually spot scams quickly, but the headline in a recent email from ‘Amazon’ claiming to be about improving privacy seemed worth opening. It said that Amazon would in future hold my details for no more than six months. Then came the tell-tale signs, asking me to ‘Click here to verify now your details’ and a misplaced apostrophe: ‘Additional Information’s’. So I checked the email’s Properties, and saw it was from ‘ 44130203@notifications.com’, not Amazon.co.uk. I then added the sender to my Blocked list.
