LONDON’S TUBE TO GET 4G WEB AC­CESS

A ser­vice to let pas­sen­gers on the London Un­der­ground use 4G on their de­vices will launch in 2019, Trans­port for London (TFL) has an­nounced. It fol­lows a suc­cess­ful trial this sum­mer in tun­nels and plat­forms on the Water­loo & City line. Cur­rently, Wi-fi is avail­able on plat­forms, but there’s no con­nec­tiv­ity on trains. Voda­fone, O2, Three and EE took part in the trial, but TFL haven’t an­nounced which net­work would pro­vide the ser­vice.
