PO­LICE SPENT £1.3M ON CY­BER TRAIN­ING

UK po­lice forces spent £1.3m train­ing 39,400 staff in cy­ber­se­cu­rity be­tween 2015 and 2017, ac­cord­ing to fig­ures ob­tained in a Free­dom of In­for­ma­tion re­quest by think tank Par­lia­ment Street. North Wales Po­lice spent the most (£375,488), fol­lowed by West Mer­cia & War­wick­shire (£125,633) and Lin­colnshire (£119,834). The Port of Dover Po­lice, which em­ploys around 50 of­fi­cers, was the only force to spend noth­ing. See all the fig­ures at www.snipca.com/27324.
