CHROMECAST ADDED TO INFLATION BASKET
Digital media players like Google’s Chromecast and Apple TV have been added to the basket of items used to calculate the UK’S rate of inflation. They’ve replaced digital TV receivers and recorders like the Freeview box. Digital camcorders have also been removed, as people increasingly record videos on phones instead.
