BBC SCRAPS PLAN TO KILL FM RADIO

Computer Active (UK) - - News -

The BBC has scrapped plans to switch off FM radio and force everyone on to digital. It says it will keep FM as part of a “mixed economy” that includes digital radio and the internet. The Government is due to review the FM and digital services this spring, when digital listeners are expected to make up 50 per cent of the radio audience.
