The price isn’t right

The Asus ZenBook UX310UA was reviewed recently (Shopper 353) at a price of £365 from Amazon. As I am looking for a replacement for my old netbook (also an Asus), I thought I’d pop along to Amazon to check it out, to find the ZenBook UX310UA being offered for £610 – a bit of a difference. It’s still a nice laptop, but not nice enough at that price for me to actually order it. Have you been misled, or would they be overcharging me? John Fairhurst

Unfortunately price changes do sometimes happen between the time we review the item and send the issue off to print, and the time it hits the shops. That looks like what has happened here. The best price we can now find it for is £540 at Laptops Direct. Not as good a bargain as the original £365, but still a £70 saving on the increased Amazon price.
