Foam, fun and fooling around has helped to raise more than £3,000 for a charity dedicated to helping the armed forces personnel find new lives through sailing experience.

The Falmouth-based charity Turn to Starboard supports Armed Forces personnel affected by military operations and their families.

More than 160 people – many in fancy dress – took part in the event at the end of July with teams from Rick Stein, Francis Clarke and Nalders Solicitors joining in the fun at Malpas Park in Truro, competing for top scores in a series of challenges across a giant inflatable obstacle course.
