Where to take photos around Padstow at a glance
Trevose Head can be dramatic in a storm, also the nearby lifeboat house is dramatic.
Hawker’s Cove is pretty and a walk out to Stepper Point is good for dramatic coastal views.
The coast path from Padstow to Hawker’s Cove is very beautiful with far-reaching views over the mouth of the Camel Estuary.
The harbour area in Padstow is photogenic as are the back streets of the town.
There are a number of boat trips including the Jubilee Queen and Padstow Sea Life Safaris which can be great for wildlife and coastal scenery.
Catch a ferry to Rock and explore the dunes where there are butterflies and flowers, and it isn’t too far to walk to St Enodoc Church, the burial place of Sir John Betjeman.
Walk, or cycle, along the Camel Trail towards Wadebridge for some picturesque estuary views.
