KELLY ANNE PAGE, WEDDING CO-ORDINATOR AT BIRTSMORTON COURT, NEAR MALVERN
My top tip would be not to worry about the weather! It’s the only thing you can’t plan and no matter what weather is thrown at you, you will still get married – and that’s the most important thing.
Embrace the weather, you will get beautiful photos indoors, and if you feel up to it, photos in the rain can be really atmospheric too. You can look at the weather forecast one year before your wedding date, six months before, one week before, even the day before and it’s still not totally accurate, so don’t stress yourself out. Your friends and family will keep you smiling no matter what. Remember, the day is about the two of you and the people that you love, not about the weather.
As my grandma always used to say: ‘If it rains, dance; if it’s windy, sing; and if it snows, build a snowman.’
