Kenton Cool at Hatherop Castle
Hatherop Castle School, near Cirencester, hosted a drinks reception with guest speaker Kenton Cool, who describes himself as a “Climber and lover of good fish and chips. Thirteen Everest summits and first man to climb Nuptse, Everest and Lhotse in a season.”
He gave an entertaining talk on his adventures, climbing with Sir Ranulph Fiennes, and his difficulties in hospital with a cardboard bedpan!
One of the values of the school is to ‘play and learn with a sense of adventure’ so little wonder Kenton chose this school to send his own children to.
