The Hound of the Baskervilles October 24-November 24

Cotswold Life - - INSIDER’S GUIDE -

This West End and record-breaking play tells the story of when Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead with a look of terror etched upon his face and the paw prints of a gigantic hound beside his body. The great detective Sherlock Holmes is summoned from Baker Street with Dr Watson in tow and the two begin to unravel the mysteries surrounding his death and the ancient curse of the Hound of the Baskervilles.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s most celebrated Sherlock Holmes story gets a gloriously funny makeover in this ‘wonderfully barking spoof’ (Daily Telegraph) with a talented cast of three actors playing multiple roles.

Breaking box office records before touring the UK, the Hound of the Baskervilles is a sublimely funny adaptation of the classic tale that will entertain and delight audiences of all ages. This story has been described by critics as a story that turns a tale of terror on the desolate moors of Victorian England into a mile-a-minute comic romp.
