An upcycled cabinet gets a second chance when put to good use as a store cupboard for dried goods. Turning the door into a chalkboard means you can easily keep track of what you’ve run out of or what needs using up. ‘You can turn virtually any surface into an erasable chalkboard in any colour you like,’ says Helen Shaw, marketing director, Benjamin Moore. ‘Our Chalkboard paint is extremely easy to apply, and dries with a decorative eggshell finish that is durable and wipeable. Using Oxford Gray instead of black adds to the rustic scheme.’
